Hardrock Haven is proud to bring you our new section -- Band of the Month -- and the first artist we have chosen for this honor, Paisty Jenny.

The Hardrock Haven Band of the Month is a band we firmly believe needs to be heard. Each month, one Hardrock Haven staff member has their opportunity to pick a band they feel is going to break soon; a band that is deserved of nationwide attention; and lastly, a band that just kicks ass.

Paisty Jenny is a hard rock quartet from Lincoln, Neb. They have opened for bands like Def Leppard, Firehouse, Great White, Tesla, and many more. Their music may be rooted in the '80s, but it is updated enough to fit on modern rock radio today. Songs like "Crisis" and "Primadonna" should be blasting from every rock radio station in the world, and their video for "Primadonna" (featuring Melissa Midwest) should be rotating on MTV, MTV2 and MTV-Pi.

Hardrock Haven recently interviewed lead singer/songwriter Gregg Lee, talked with him about his submission to Rockstar Supernova, the shooting of their first video "Primadonna," why they chose the name Paisty Jenny (strippers), and a whole lot more.
