In the promo pack they talk about guitarist Anand Mahangoe's stylings
and a quick comparison is given to you in regards to the classic
works of guitar legends such as Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. I would
have to agree but I also have someone else in mind as well. Does
anyone recall the works of Robin Trower? I do and I feel his name
should be inclusive in this analogy of sorts.
Close
your eyes and drift away to your favorite comfort zone while absorbing
this great instrumental disc for the first time. The intricate guitar
stylings presented on this album take you wherever your uninhibited
imagination will allow you to follow from beginning to end. This
is a true adventure of the inner mind. I believe this could be used
as a great stress reduction aid as well. Imagine that; music as
a drug. Try selling that to all those pill pushing psychiatrists
and they'd probably call you crazy. They're not in the music or
self help business. By the way, what business are they in anyway?
We'll just leave that one alone I guess. Now that I've managed to
totally stray from the point at hand, I'd like to take a moment
to actually do what I'm supposed to here.
This
disc is a true guitar enthusiast's wet dream. Full of emotion and
power throughout, it demonstrates vocals are not always necessary.
It is the power of a master and his instrument. This gets a 9.
