Comments: The best speed-thrash-heavy-metal CD in at least 10 years! It took five Swedes to finally understand that the lyrics should never overpower the guitars! The CD starts off with the wild “Beast”, featuring tremendously hard charging speed guitar reminiscent of the Legendary Sepultura. The songs solo is laced with a twelve second mach 3 speed mini solo that is truly energetic and original. “Trigger needs some action” starts with a British sounding gentleman’s statement “Hello… I’ve just shot somebody, I did it on purpose," then more of the awesome power of the dual thrash metal axemanship of Simon Jarrolf and Pontus Pettersson!

Layers upon layers of exceptional lead and rhythm guitar work highlight this song, truly another wild power ride. “High on Fire” the albums best song, starts out with a Death Metal scream from the bands lead vocalist Henke Wenngren that could strip a wall of lead-based paint from twenty-five miles away! Lyric originality abounds on this album and in this song he implores us to “cry while smiling”. Then a minute in, the guitar develops into an anthem that would lead any legion of men into the fiercest of battles.

A clean powerful melodic guitar solo starts off “Deadicate”, another solid entry in this amazing display of what Thrash/Death/Speed metal should be! “Life Corrupted” is another great song that includes a long clean solo right in the middle of the organized chaos, highlighted by some pretty decent fret board work! “Boots of Led” is the song for the mosh pit inspired enthusiasts and their first video for the album as well, available for free download on their website www.viciousonline.com.

Bassist Alex Savander holds his own playing solidly throughout! Drummers out there will love this CD as the drums are played fast and consistently well throughout by Fredrik Erikson especially on the frenetic “A Vicious Mind” a thunderous chill bump raising roller coaster! The album finishes as strongly as it started with the powerhouse “The Feeder Of Evil” where Wenngren splays “open wide its time to die” well if that’s true somebody better play this original and amazing CD at my funeral!
