An alternative rock band from Flat Rock, N.C., Monday Morning releases
Fool's Paradise on Selectric Records. Their style is much like
many of the best alternative rock bands but their message of positivity
and reverence to God is certainly unique. While unsure if they are
classified Christian Rock, their music is the best in that genre in
years.
They
have heavy hard riffs, pounding bass & drum lines and pretty smooth
and precise vocals. These guys are talented and unlike other young
bands they are not afraid to show it. Its also very refreshing
to hear a young man sing to Jesus Im so nothing without
you. Their MySpace site had 58,000 visitors, a sign that many
youth want clean real spiritually based rock n roll.
All
in all this is great rock and should become popular in the mainstream
as well as Christian music scenes. The hit song released off of this
album is Wonder of it All, a beautiful tribute to Christ
and a kick butt song as well! The end of the song features clips of
Robert F. Kennedy and George Bush, a pretty interesting dichotomy.
All
the songs are top shelf alternative rock and could blend in with any
other of the genres top bands albums. Anyone ready to incorporate
some solid worship and praise into your daily life or if you just
want to enjoy good positive rock n roll, pick up a copy of this
wonderful CD.
